Membership Types

Corporate

Corporate member must have operated in the pictures and sound production or related fields for four consecutive years, during which its company name must appear in the closing credits of at least four films (each film of not less than 80 minutes in duration) or four TV series (each series of not less than 450 minutes in duration) in the last 3 years.  Corporate member must be nominated by at least two committee members. Decision from the Committee shall be final and conclusive.

Professional

Professional member must have worked  in pictures and sound production or related fields for three consecutive years, during which his/her name must appear in the closing credits of at least two films (each film must be at least 80 minutes in duration) or two TV series (each series of not less than 360 minutes in duration) Professional member must be nominated by at least two committee members, one of whom being its employer who should also a Corporate Member the applicant’s corporate company. Decision from the Committee shall be final and conclusive.

Affiliate

The applicant’s field of work must relate to pictures and sound production and be unanimously agreed by the Committee. The Committee has the right to request proof of work and CV from the applicant.

Honorary

Honorary member must have made outstanding contribution to the Association or to film and television industry on account of his/her work, OR he/she must be nominated by at least two committee members.  Appointment is subject to final approval of the Committee.

Lifetime

Lifetime member must possess the qualification of Professional Member and be nominated by the Committee.  Upon expiry of his/her term of office, Chairman of the Association shall automatically become a Lifetime Member.
